It is a holistic, state of the art and cutting edge Cancer Health Care Facility that pulls together and integrates multiple forms of services to create a comprehensive Cancer Care Program from prevention, diagnosis, treatment to long-term care with an utmost concern that quality care is delivered with sensitivity. The leading edge technology, Radiation Therapy equipment of PSH, is a package of the following: Linear Accelerator with multi leaf collimator, Simulator, Treatment Planning System, and Stereotatic Body Frame; Brachytherapy HDR after Loading System, Quality Assurance and Mould Room equipment. The system will be upgraded in the future to the following: Intra- cranial Stereotatic Radiography, Intra-cranial Stereotatic Radiosurgery.
	Besides employing modern technology through Radiation Therapy, the Cebu Cancer Institute will also offer comprehensive Oncology Services for adult and children, comprising of: Chemotherapy and Comprehensive Cancer Care from screening to terminal care. Later, the Cebu Cancer Institute will specialize in Mastopathopathy Center for breasts cancer and Prostatic Cancer.
	An added special feature of this holistic approach is the development of the Hospice Care, “A home away from home”, which offers the following services: Cancer Occupational Therapy, Counseling after diagnosis, Bereavement Care, Home Care, Restoration of Body Image and Pastoral Care that will provide venues for counseling, prayer and healing sessions among others, to help the patients and their families cope with this deadly disease. A Pain Clinic will also be established especially for the terminally ill patients.
