Imaging
   Medical Imaging

Our center is equipped with the following state-of-the-art imaging modalities medicated to maximize diagnosis and aid in the treatment of diseases.

› X-ray
› Ultrasound
› CT-Scan
› MRI
› Mammography
› Angiography

X-RAY

This includes quality general radiographic imaging of any part of the body from the head, chest, abdomen, and extremities and special contrast-enhanced radiographic images aided by fluoroscopic guidance for such procedures as double contrast barium studies of the gastrointestinal tract, cholangiogram, IVP, urethrogram, cystogram, fistulogram, hysterogram, etc.

ULTRASOUND

This non-ionizing imaging tool is optimal in delineation of soft tissues and solid organs. This is excellent in differentiating solid from cystic structures. Our ultrasound unit has applications for general ultrasound involving transcranial, chest, abdomen, transrectal prostate, small parts like thyroid and testes, soft tissues, including muscles and joint exams and vascular structures. Diagnostic biopsies and therapeutic interventional ultrasound procedures are also available. For OB-Gyne sonology, transabdominal, transrectal, transvaginal pelvic exams, color-doppler and congenital anomaly studies are available.

COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT) SCAN

Our advanced multislice CT Scanner provides faster scanning time with most scans completed in less than a minute. Detailedand excellent image resolution and information with multiplanar tomographic reconstructions are provided for better diagnostic evaluation. Basic exams of the head, chest, abdomen and extremities with special exams such as CT angiogram, 3D-reconstruction, high resolution chest scan, triphasic liver scanning, stonogram, CT urogram, CT arthrogram, CT fistulogram, virtual endoscopy-colonoscopy, CT-guided biopsies and therapeutic interventions.

MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI)

This radiation-free, non-ionizing, non-invasive imaging tool provides superior soft tissue contrast resolution with multiplanar imaging capability. This is best for evaluation of acute ischemic strokes, ligamental injuries in sports medicine and persistent back pains. Various special exams are available aside from routine head and neck, abdomen, spine and extremity exams. This includes cranial MRA and MRV and MR Arthrography.

MAMMOGRAPHY

This test can detect breast cancer early when treatment is most effective. This simple breast exam can save the breast and even life. It is recommended that women aged 40 years old above have screening and regular mammography. For women who are high risk, screening mammography is recommended as early as 35 years old.

ANGIOGRAPHY

This special procedure not only evaluates vascular structures but also aides in the therapeutic interventional procedures such as stenting in intracranial aneurysms and other vascular malformations.
